Brandon Glover, a 27-year-old right-arm fast bowler from the Netherlands, became the highest wicket-taker in T20 cricket this year. Glover took 28 wickets in 19 matches at an average of 16 and a strike rate of 13.9 in the year 2019.

During this time, his economy rate was 6.89. Another Nepal fast bowler, Karan Casey, also took 28 wickets in 19 matches at an average of 17. During this time, their strike rate was 14.1 and the economy was 7.23.

Former Australian left-arm fast bowler Dirk Nanus (Nanus has also played for the Netherlands) took 27 wickets in 14 T20 matches in 2010 at an average of 14.92. During this period, his strike rate was 11.7 and the economy rate was 7.60.

Nanas did his best in a low-scoring match played against Bangladesh in Bridgetown in the World T20 where he took 4 wickets for 18 runs.

Apart from this, he took 3 wickets for 25 runs in a match against India which included Yuvraj Singh, Murali Vijay, and Gautam Gambhir.

Jaspreet Bumrah

India’s fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah was the highest wicket-taker in T20 cricket in 2016. He took 28 wickets in 21 matches at an average of 18.82 that year. During this period Bumrah had a strike rate of 17 and an economy rate of 6.62.

Bumrah, who made his ODI debut earlier that year, made his international debut in T20 cricket in the same series. He played 3 wickets for 23 runs in a T20 match against Australia in Adelaide and was instrumental in India’s 37-run win.
