England’s cricket team’s regular Test captain Joe Root became a father for the second time, his wife gave birth to a daughter. Root gave this information on social media on Wednesday. Root posted a photo on his Instagram on Wednesday, in which he is seen with both his children.

Due to the birth of the child, Root decided not to play in the first Test match released with the West Indies. In the absence of Root, Ben Stokes is captaining the team in the first Test match.

He also wished the team all the best for the Test match between England and West Indies which started on Wednesday. Root said on Instagram, ‘Good luck boys. England cricket. We will see you and support you.
In the Test match, England’s acting captain Ben Stokes received a message from the regular captain Root of the team. Dot UK wrote to Stokes quoting Metro Dot, ‘I have not been given much advice, although a lot of ideas are coming out.’
Stokes said, ‘Yesterday when I finished my photoshoot with Blazer, I got the best message for myself. Root sent me a message that said – Play your way.
